Clear Skies Texas (CST) has officially received its nonprofit designation from the Internal Revenue Service. As of January, 2021, all donations are also tax-deductible.
“We are excited to be recognized as an official nonprofit and ready to get to work in Texas and for Texans,” said CST Board Chair Julie Moore. “Clear Skies Texas is working to secure Texas’s role as an energy leader and provide a clean, safe environment for future generations.”
Polling shows that the need to address climate challenges is not a one party issue. In particular, conservative women and younger conservatives care about this issue and want to see action from our state and federal leaders. CST will work to fill a gap in this area by providing resources, education and leadership on climate change and its impact on our state to this demographic, as well as all interested Texans.
